Year 1000
The hamlet of "Lamberval" is first mentioned. Since then, three successive buildings have stood on this site: a medieval fortress, a Renaissance château, and finally the current residence.
1823
The main building is constructed in stone and brick. Its architecture is characterised by remarkable simplicity, reflecting the classical style of the early 19th century.
1854
The two turrets are added, completing the architectural character of the château as we know it today.
1936
The château enters the Lamoureux family. Marc and Elise are now the 3rd generation of owners to live in and breathe life into this historic place.
Today
In the cottages and guest rooms where they welcome you, Marc and Elise Lamoureux will be delighted to share the historical past of their home, the current farming activity and the estate's modern oil press.
