The hamlet of "Lamberval" has existed since the year 1000. This estate is rich in history — and just as rich in activity today.

Year 1000

Origins

The hamlet of "Lamberval" is first mentioned. Since then, three successive buildings have stood on this site: a medieval fortress, a Renaissance château, and finally the current residence.

1823

The current residence

The main building is constructed in stone and brick. Its architecture is characterised by remarkable simplicity, reflecting the classical style of the early 19th century.

The two turrets

The two turrets are added, completing the architectural character of the château as we know it today.

Family ownership

The château enters the Lamoureux family. Marc and Elise are now the 3rd generation of owners to live in and breathe life into this historic place.
